    Day-to-Day Operations

Who will my daily point of contact be at Transdev?

Day-to-day management will work much the same, just some new faces to report to and added resources for employees. There will be a Transdev general manager on site, as well as Transdev AV operations coordinators (AVOC) on site for each shift to serve as a resource to employees. Much of the communication that you would normally ask a dispatcher, or your temp agency contact currently, you will now be able to ask AVOCs, who can direct you to other Transdev resources as necessary.

Will my schedule or hours change?

Schedule changes will not be a result of this transition, however please understand that business needs are always changing and this may require a change in schedules. Transdev will do its best to notify you of any schedule changes in advance.

Do I need to re-apply for my job?

Yes, you will need to complete and pass the following pre-hire requirements.

    • Interview
    • FMCSA medical test
    • Background test
    • Drug test

    Does my onsite manager change?

Yes. Each operation will have an on-site Transdev Autonomous Vehicle Operations Coordinator (AVOC) as well as a General Manager (GM). Your day to day point of contact will be one of the AVOCs for your specific shift.

    Personal Questions

What are the pros and cons for me personally?

We can’t provide a list of individual considerations, but we are happy to share the reasons we believe that this move is positive for our drivers and test conductors.

    • Improved working conditions for drivers, with paid vacation and sick leave, medical, vision, and dental benefits, and 401(k) options.
    • Improved consistency for driving operations—drivers are full-time employees of Transdev, which eliminates the contract end dates.
    • Opportunities for career progression as there is no two year cap.
    • On-site Transdev staff, including general manager, AV operations coordinators, HR manager, and safety manager, better equipped to address individual employee issues, such as general questions, benefits, and career development in a timely manner.
    • Vendor planned events, awards recognition and team building to boost morale and improve retention.

    Job and Role

Am I guaranteed a job with Transdev?

Transdev is committed to hiring all current qualified employees who successfully pass the pre-employment background check, drug test, physical, and provide necessary documents as required by the form I-9.

Will all Castle drivers move too Transdev?

Yes, all four roles will move to Transdev (Structured Test Conductor, Structured Driver, Structured Test Assistant, Durability Driver).

How will the current MTV drivers go to Castle to support that? How will this work?

The day-to-day operations will not be changing, so the support by MTV at Castle will continue as needed.
